about

So, this one was recorded between June and August 1999, which means I turned 22 that July. This was recorded in the old bedroom in my Mother's house as I had to move back home for a while after quitting my job as a record shop manager in Monaghan Town.

This is a much better attempt at being cohesive and having a vision rather than just a collection of random songs. The style is mostly consistent throughout, with a rock-pop-alternative feel.

Again, this was recorded using the same equipment as the previous album and would have helped if I had had a guitar amp at the time, as the guitar sounds are all straight to the desk.

I was very close to starting a live band to play this stuff but ended up doing the whole acoustic singer-songwriter thing instead for a few years.
